An Interview with David Wellington, Author of Elizabeth Cage
I recently had the opportunity to interview David Wellington, the author of Elizabeth Cage. Here's what he had to say about his book:
Q: What inspired you to write Elizabeth Cage?
A: I've always been fascinated by supernatural thrillers, and I wanted to write a story that would both scare and entertain readers. I also wanted to explore the idea of a female protagonist who is strong and capable, but also vulnerable and human.
Q: What do you hope readers will take away from Elizabeth Cage?
A: I hope that readers will be entertained by the story, but I also hope that they will be left thinking about the book long after they finish it. I want readers to question their own beliefs about the supernatural, and to consider the possibility that there is more to the world than we can see.
Q: What are you working on next?
A: I'm currently working on a new supernatural thriller called The Last Astronaut. It's about a group of astronauts who are sent on a mission to investigate a mysterious object in space. When they arrive, they discover that the object is an alien spacecraft, and that the aliens are not friendly.
David Wellington is an award-winning author of science fiction and fantasy novels. His work has been translated into 20 languages. He lives in Austin, Texas.
